DC 12V -24V Marine Water Pump Float Switch(CE certified) Automatic, removable float switch for bilge/water pumps — 20A @12V (10A @24V), 2″ ON / 3/4″ OFF, 1m wire (18 AWG). CE certified. Product Description High-capacity switching: Rated 20 A at 12 VDC and 10 A at 24 VDC, designed to directly control most marine bilge and submersible pumps without extra relays in many installations. Reliable water-level control: Automatically turns ON at ~2″ (51 mm) and turns OFF at ~3/4″ (19 mm) to minimise unnecessary cycling while protecting the vessel. Robust construction & long life: Ultrasonic-welded, sealed ABS housing for leak-proof operation and a switching life claimed up to 10 million cycles for long service life. Serviceable design: Removable switch from the base (quick-release / cleanable base) for easier inspection and maintenance. Wire comes standard at 1 m and 18 AWG; custom lengths available. Environmentally responsible & heavy duty: Mercury-free design and built for tough marine / RV / caravan environments. Technical parameters Float Switch A05-202001 Max Amps 12volts 20A Wire Length 1 m Max Amps 24volts 10A Wire Gauge Size 18 AWG Water Level Reaches Turn ” ON” 2″ / 51mm Water Level Reaches Turn “OFF” 3/4″ / 20mm Typical applications Automatic bilge pump control on yachts, small boats and workboats. Sump, RV or caravan water management, and small pumping systems where compact, automatic on/off control is needed. How to install / use Mount base on a stable, vertical surface in the bilge or compartment where the float can rise/fall freely. Wire the switch to the pump (observe polarity and fuse protection sized for the pump). For heavy-load pumps, fit a relay or contactor as recommended by the pump maker. Test by pouring water to verify the 2″ ON and 3/4″ OFF action; adjust mounting location if necessary. Service: Remove the float from the base to clean debris and check operation periodically. FAQ Q: Can this switch run my 12V bilge pump directly?A: Yes for many pumps — it’s rated 20 A at 12 V. If your pump draws near or above that value at stall you should use a relay or contactor and size the fuse appropriately. Q: Will it work reliably in saltwater?A: The ABS housing with ultrasonic sealing and mercury-free design is intended for marine use; install where free of excessive debris and inspect periodically. Q: How precise are the ON/OFF levels? Can I change them?A: The switch is manufactured to operate ON ≈ 2″ (51 mm) and OFF ≈ 3/4″ (19 mm); these are set by float geometry and mounting — you can only change the trip height by relocating the base, not by adjustment on the unit itself. Q: Is the switch easy to clean or service?A: Yes — the switch is removable from the base for easy cleaning and inspection, reducing downtime and maintenance labour.
